Marcos Valle & Azymuth European Tour

Marcos Valle and Azymuth unite for a very special, one-off European tour this summer! This will be the first time the cosmic jazz-funk legends and the renaissance man of Brazilian pop have performed together outside of Brazil, and it's guaranteed to be special.

Azymuth and Marcos Valle have a shared history at the forefront of Brazilian music. In different ways, both have been instrumental in redefining the nation's sound since the sixties. They also share a more personal history, in that Azymuth consider Valle their godfather. In fact, it was during the sessions for the O Fabuloso Fittipaldi soundtrack they recorded together in 1973 that Valle suggested the name Azymuth to the band. Valle and Azymuth have also worked together on a number of classic records, from the aforementioned soundtrack, to Valle's much loved psychedelic soul / funk masterpiece Previsão Do Tempo.
