For his forthcoming album Palmares Fantasy, London based multi-instrumentalist Sean Khan ventured to Rio de Janeiro to collaborate with the great Hermeto Pascoal, as well as Azymuth drummer Ivan Conti, and the late Brazilian bassist Paulo Russo. Today we're very happy to release the third single from the album, a fresh uplifting soul-jazz take on the Milton Nasciemento and Lo Borges classic 'Tudo Que Voce Podia Ser'.
Funnily enough, this is one of the few tracks on the album recorded in the UK, with Sean's London band including Laurie Lowe (drums), Jim Mullen (guirtar), Darrio de Lecce (double bass) and Andy Noble (keys).
Listen to Sabrina Malheiros beautiful vocal take on this inventive arrangement of an MPB classic, and pre-order Sean Khan ft. Hermeto Pascoal - Palmares Fantasy (which is out next week!) on vinyl, CD, and digitally. LISTEN / PRE-ORDER
